Every love story begins with a simple moment, and ours began with coffee. Our story started at Tipsy Muse, over coffee and conversation. It was one of those moments that seemed small at first, but something stayed with us. From that first meeting, there was comfort, curiosity, and the quiet feeling that this could become something special.

Wedding Day
Updated timings for our full day of traditions, food, music, dancing, and celebration at the Douglas Hazen Centre.
9:30 – 10:30 AM
Haldi will take place outdoors at the gazebo. Join us for a joyful morning of blessings, laughter, and a little turmeric. We may also have a small plain-water bash if the weather allows.
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Come enjoy a small henna design, a few games, photos, and some relaxed time together before lunch.
1:00 PM
Lunch will be served before the wedding ceremony. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions in your RSVP.
2:00 – 3:00 PM
The ceremony begins with the groom's entrance at 2:00 PM. Please be seated a little before 2:00 as we celebrate with entrances, garlands, rings, vows, traditions, and family blessings.
3:00 – 6:00 PM
Take some time to relax and freshen up before the evening celebration. We are also considering a photo session and possibly cake cutting during this time, so those details may still be adjusted.
6:00 PM onwards
Join us again for dinner, music, performances, dancing, and lots of celebrating together. Wear something comfortable that lets you move and enjoy the evening.
If you would like to participate, please wear something you do not mind getting turmeric or water on. A loose white or yellow T-shirt can be worn over your outfit for extra coverage, but it may not fully protect against stains. Please bring spare clothes, a small towel, and a warm layer. Participation is completely optional.
There is no need to have a different outfit for every event. If you would like to freshen up or change before music night, you can use the washroom facilities, return to your accommodation if convenient, or make whatever arrangement works best for you. We will not have dedicated changing rooms available for every guest.
Please do not feel that you need to bring a gift. Having you there, celebrating and making memories with us, means so much. Bring your energy, good wishes, and dancing shoes!
Venue
Our celebration will be indoors at the Douglas Hazen Centre, with Haldi planned outdoors at the gazebo from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, weather permitting.

We are excited to celebrate our wedding in a beautiful indoor venue with access to an outdoor gazebo. The day will include Haldi, henna, games, lunch, our wedding ceremony, dinner, music, and dancing.

What To Expect
Our wedding will be a mix of Indian traditions and a warm family-style celebration. Everyone is welcome, and we will explain the ceremonies so guests feel included.
Haldi is a joyful blessing ceremony where turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom by family and friends. It represents purification, protection, and good fortune, and is filled with laughter and cheerful energy. Our Haldi will take place outdoors at the gazebo from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
After Haldi, our henna booth will be open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM along with a few games. Guests are welcome to enjoy a small henna design, spend time together, and relax before lunch.
The wedding ceremony is the heart of our celebration, where we officially begin our journey together. It begins at 2:00 PM with the groom's entrance, so please be seated a little beforehand.
You will see special entrances, garland and ring exchanges, vows, traditional rituals, family blessings, and meaningful moments that reflect love, commitment, and the coming together of two families.
The music night, also known as the Sangeet, begins at 6:00 PM and is a lively celebration of music, dinner, dancing, and togetherness.
Expect dance performances, upbeat music, and a fun evening where everyone is welcome to celebrate, dance, and create beautiful memories. Comfort is the priority, so wear something that lets you move and enjoy the night.
